An engineer by profession, Farouk Almoayyed started his corporate success story as Managing Director of Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons and continues to do so with a keen spirit of enterprise and an uncompromising approach to customer satisfaction and employee welfare.

Farouk Almoayyed's integrity and keen business acumen have earned him recognition and respect of the business community. Today, apart from being the chairman of Computer World W.L.L. is also the owner and Chairman of Almoayyed International Group (a diversified IT group).

He is also Member (Past First Vice President) of the Shura Council (Bahrain Consultative Council), Chairman of Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons B.S.C.(c), Chairman of Ashraf Brothers W.L.L., Chairman of Bahrain Duty Free Complex Co. & National Concrete Co., Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Bahrain, Chairman of Bahrain Hotels Co. (Gulf Hotel), Director of International Bank of Asia, Hong Kong & Gulf Union Insurance & Reinsurance Co., Founder Member & Chairman Board of Trustees of Ibn Khuldoon National School - Bahrain, Member of the Board of Advisors of Institute of Social & Economic Policy in the Middle East - Harvard University, Member of the Board of Advisors of Centre for Contemporary Arab Studies, Georgetown University - Washington.

Born into the business family of Y.K. Almoayyed, Farouk Almoayyed has come up in life learning business the practical way from his father, Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed, founder of Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, one of Bahrain's leading business houses.

Born into the business family of Y.K. Almoayyed, Mohammed Farouk Almoayyed is the Director of Almoayyed International Group, one of Bahrain's leading business houses.

He took up his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in finance from George Washington University in the USA.

As a promising entrepreneur, Mohammed Almoayyed has actively participated in the group's business activities since the year 2000. He also extends his managerial support to the parent group Y.K.Almoayyed's automobile dealership business of Nissan & Ford.

He is a proactive individual, a prudent and swift decision maker, motivates the staff members thoroughly, practices time management and holds total quality management as his slogan. His aim is to channel all efforts put in by the manager's finally translating into net profitable revenues.

He has brought in several changes to the group's style of functioning by decentralizing authority and making every person responsible and accountable. He aspires to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction by regularly monitoring the service and support levels. The first step towards this was acquiring the ISO 9001 certification in the year 2003.

His vision is to add several new business lines to the Almoayyed International Group's activities and expand its present operations into other GCC and Middle East countries.

Albeit young he demonstrates a great level of maturity in dealing with his customers, staff, and partners giving everybody a feeling of comfort and a right to express themselves generously.

He also participates in several charitable activities and would continue this role in a bigger way in the years to come. He likes to be fit, keeps himself healthy being regular to the gym, enjoys playing squash & football and is a keen spectator of other sports.
