Decide the Best Purchase or Leasing Option for Your Organization
Microsoft's licensing programs provide volume pricing for customers acquiring five or more software licenses through an authorized reseller.

Here are the three simple steps you can use to get started with a Microsoft Volume Licensing program:
Calculate the number of licenses your company needs.
Review Microsoft's volume licensing options.
Acquire the licenses you need by contacting Computer World.

Step 1: Calculate the Number of Licenses Your Company Needs
You (or your IT department) can determine your company's licensing needs simply by taking inventory. To get started, count and record:

The number of servers in your organization
The number of processors (CPUs) in each server
The number of desktops in your organization

This information is the key to determining the best licensing options for your company. Record it and keep it with you throughout the licensing process.

Step 2: Review Microsoft's Volume License Options
Microsoft offers Volume License programs (Open License, Select License, Enterprise Agreement and Enterprise Subscription Agreement) designed to meet the needs of any size business.
